OK whoever said once you get to be a grand parent you have more time on your hands during the holidays must have been crazy out of their minds. I have got to say as a grand mother the holiday season is much more hectic now they when I was just a parent.
I have a word of advice for all grand parents, months before Christmas start paying close attention to what things your grand kids go nuts for.
I noticed that toys get scarce the closer it gets to the holidays. For example I was in search for a fisher price toy for one of my grand kids this year and it took me over 2 weeks to find it in stock somewhere online. There was another toy I never found in stock so had to adjust the Santa list.
And just like most grandma's online shopping is a blessing. So next year make it even simpler and think and shop early.
